I'm William and I'm 11 years old. In November I am going to run 5k with my Dad (https://localgiving.org/fundraising/Equal_Pay5k) to raise awareness of the gender pay gap and funds for Northamptonshire Rights and Equality Council (NREC). NREC is an incredible organisation that provides dedicated casework support to women facing discrimination in the workplace, helping them challenge unfair treatment and fight for their rights.

I will be running the 5k on near to Equal Pay Day. Equal Pay Day marks the point in the year when, on average, women are effectively working for free compared with men – this year it falls on 20 November.
