Lewis is taking on an incredible challenge by walking approximately 16–17 miles from Sowerby Bridge to Dewsbury to raise funds for The Light Group, a Christian charity supporting people experiencing homelessness, addiction and other difficult life circumstances across our communities.

Every mile Lewis walks represents hope for someone who may be struggling. The money raised will help The Light Group continue providing practical and pastoral support to people who often feel isolated, forgotten or without a way forward. Through our regular outreaches, drop-ins and ongoing support, we help people access emergency accommodation, supported housing, rehabilitation services, local churches and other supportive communities where they can begin rebuilding their lives.
