Mush's Annual Birthday Run for The Light Group
On 15th July, I'll once again be celebrating my birthday by lacing up my running shoes and taking on a challenge to raise money for The Light Group – a charity close to my heart that works tirelessly with people affected by homelessness and addiction.
This has become an annual tradition for me because I've seen first-hand the incredible difference that The Light Group makes in the lives of people who are often facing some of the most difficult circumstances imaginable. Every day, the team walks alongside men and women who are trapped in homelessness, addiction and other complex issues, helping them find hope and a way forward.
The Light Group provides practical support, builds relationships and helps people move into safer environments. Whether that means getting someone into rehab, securing accommodation, accessing vital services or simply ensuring they are no longer sleeping on the streets, every life matters and every person deserves the opportunity for a fresh start.
This work is challenging and often costly, but lives are being transformed. People who once felt hopeless are finding recovery, stability and purpose, and that is only possible because of the generosity of supporters like you.
This birthday, instead of receiving giftsI'm asking if you would consider making a donation to support this life-changing work. No matter how big or small, every contribution will help The Light Group continue reaching people in crisis and providing the support they desperately need.
Together, we can bring hope to those who need it most and help people move from homelessness and addiction into recovery, safety and a brighter future.
Thank you for supporting my annual birthday run and for helping The Light Group continue changing lives.
Every mile run and every pound donated makes a difference.
