After numerous grant applications to develop this key community facility in Mevagissey, we've now successfully secured most of the funding for a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), a floodlit, artificial turf arena that can be used in all weathers, all-year-round for football, netball, hockey, pickleball and more, on the site of the tennis court. This would mean so much for the community: more youth football teams, new netball teams, greater opportunities for exercise through individual and group hire, and crucial revenue for the longevity of the MAC.

We've commitments of £40,000 from the Community Levelling Up Fund and are grateful for a further £20,000 from the parish council as their investment in improving local facilities. We only need another £8,275 to make this happen!! BUT we have 3 weeks to do it or we lose it all!!!!

This would be transformational for the local community and beyond to have access to such a facility.
