Im proud to say that I’ve completed my Snowdon challenge, carrying 53 lbs to the summit in support of Men’s Minds Matter and their incredible work in suicide prevention.
I took on this challenge in memory of my brother Damian. Damian sadly took his own life on Boxing Day 2024, a loss that deeply affected everyone who knew and loved him. with the loss of my brother, this experience has shown me just how devastating suicide can be for families, friends, and communities. I wanted to do something meaningful to honour their memories, raise awareness, and support a charity that works tirelessly to prevent others from reaching crisis point.
The challenge was extremely difficult, both physically and mentally, but I was determined to keep going and get the job done for a cause that means so much to me.
A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Your support, encouragement, and generosity have meant the world to me and helped me push through when things got tough.
My fundraiser is still open for a little while longer, so if you haven’t donated yet and feel able to spare a couple of pounds, I would be incredibly grateful.
Every donation, no matter how small, helps Men’s Minds Matter continue their vital work in suicide prevention and supporting those who are struggling.
