This Recovery Month, we’re taking a stand against the stigma that surrounds substance use and recovery. Join us for our "Step Out to #SwipeOutStigma" Sponsored Walk, where every step we take helps to break down barriers and build a more understanding, supportive community for those in recovery.

Why We're Walking Stigma can be a major obstacle for those seeking help and support on their recovery journey. By walking together, we’re raising awareness and showing that recovery is possible—and it’s something to be celebrated, not hidden. Your support will directly help us continue our vital work in supporting individuals and families affected by addiction and mental health challenges.

Show Your Support—Wear Purple! Purple is the colour of the recovery ribbon, symbolising hope and recovery. We’re encouraging everyone who joins us to wear purple as a sign of solidarity and support. Whether it’s a T-shirt, scarf, or just a splash of purple, let’s turn our walk into a powerful, visual statement against stigma.

Get Involved Whether you’re walking with us or supporting from afar, your contribution makes a huge difference. Here’s how you can help:

  • Donate: Every pound you give will go directly to supporting recovery initiatives in our community.

  • Join the Walk: Lace up your trainers, throw on something purple, and step out with us to #SwipeOutStigma.

  • Spread the Word: Share this page with friends, family, and on social media. The more people who know about our walk, the greater the impact we can make together.
