Hi, thank you for visiting our fundraising page for Stripey Stork 2025.

Jackie and I will be running the Run Reigate 10k in our new fabulous Fancy dress costumes!! All to raise money for the incredible local charity 'Stripey Stork' on the 21st of September. 
Stripey Stork is an incredible charity that supports children and parents experiencing hardship. By giving clothes, toys, baby and children's products, and equipment to families and parents who have escaped abuse or found themselves in hardship.
All the items are sourced and collected second-hand, which also saves on landfill by recycling and reusing many items.  
This could be a school bag, duvet cover, or simply a tube of toothpaste. The impact is enormous on those who have sometimes never experienced any kindness in their lives. Stripey Stork works in partnership with support services such as children’s centres, schools, health visitors, domestic abuse services, and social service agencies. All the donations go directly to the families that they support, and each item goes to someone who specifically needs it.
Volunteers work extremely hard to help many people in desperate need. in these recent times, where financial hardship is affecting more and more people,  the pressures are very frightening and painful for many. Every penny, even a small really does help those in need, and they are incredibly grateful for the kindness. Many letters come back with thanks and stories of how this charity has completely changed their lives and given them hope. 
 
This is a very hardworking and fantastic charity, and anything donated is truly gratefully received. A massive thank you to all those who have supported us over the years!
