Higham Eagles are raising vital funds for the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund (EHMF), helping young people in Gravesham access life-changing mental health support. Please find details below of a football tournament being held in memory of 15 year old Tristan Taylor who grew up in Higham, loved football and played for Higham Eagles.
Since 2022, EHMF has supported over 580 young people with fast, in-person counselling.
· Average wait time: 6 days (UK average: 392 days)
· No waiting list in 4 years
· Delivered by 13 trusted counsellors
· Working in partnership with schools, Kent Police, Darent Valley Hospital and local organisations
· Providing ongoing support for families bereaved by youth suicide
There is simply no comparable service locally delivering this level of rapid, barrier-free support.
Without EHMF, many young people would face months of waiting, or may not receive help at all.
Your donation could mean a young person in crisis is seen within days, not months or even years. It could mean stability, hope, and a different future. This challenge will be tough, but the cause is far greater.
Please donate if you can. Together, we can change and even save young lives.
Thank you for your support.
