David works with The Light Group as a Homeless Pastor, supporting people experiencing homelessness and vulnerability in his own town of Northallerton. Through street outreach, building relationships and offering practical and emotional support, David sees first-hand the difference that The Light Group’s work can make in people’s lives.

David is now raising funds to support The Light Group’s wider work across 14 towns and cities in the UK. The organisation works with people experiencing homelessness, addiction, isolation and other challenges, helping them move from the streets into supported accommodation, recovery programmes and positive community environments.

The Light Group’s approach is built around relationships, trust and community. Homeless Pastors and volunteers meet people where they are, providing support and helping them take positive steps towards a safer and more stable future.

Every donation will help The Light Group continue its street outreach, community groups and recovery support across the 14 towns and cities it serves.

David is passionate about raising awareness and funds because he has seen the impact of this work first-hand in Northallerton and wants to help more people access the same support, hope and opportunities for change.
