💛Our amazing volunteer Mary is turning 60. She’s training for 60 days. And she’s doing it to keep up with her 6-year-old autistic grandson.

Instead of slowing down, Mary is stepping up. Behind this challenge is a grandmother who gives everything for her family, and now she’s turning her strength, resilience, and love into a fundraiser that will make a real difference for other families.

‘My name is Mary and I have been going to Behaviour Support Hub just over a year now.  I discovered them on social media and I am so glad they have been a lifesaver. I am grandmother to a 7 year old little boy with a ASD/ADHD diagnosis and his mum also has a similar diagnosis although she could be described as high functioning. My daughter had a mental health crisis around 18 months ago and was unable to care for my grandson.  I have taken over his care. I go to the gym regularly as I enjoy it and need to keep fit in order to keep up with my grandson as I am not getting any younger lol. I am 60 this year and decided to set myself a challenge and raise funds for the Behaviour Support Hub.’

From Friday 27th Feb - Monday 27th Apr, finishing during Autism Awareness Month, Mary will complete:

💛Rowing machine 60k

💛Exercise bike 60k

💛Treadmill 60k

💛Cross trainer 60k

💛60 squats

💛60 additional exercises

The challenge will take place at Energie Fitness Pontypridd.
