Ten years of singing together. Help us make the next ten possible.
Founded in 2016 by survivors of torture, Sing for Freedom Choir brings refugees, people seeking sanctuary and local residents together through the joy of singing. More than a choir, it is a community built on friendship, mutual support and solidarity, where people from different backgrounds come together as equals, sharing their creativity, experiences and strengths.
Its impact reaches far beyond its singers. Through performances, collaborations and sharing its expertise with other choirs, Sing for Freedom inspires audiences and communities, demonstrating how music can overcome differences, build understanding and spread hope and joy.
As we celebrate our tenth birthday, help us secure the next ten years.
It costs around £40,000 a year to sustain the choir, providing professional musical leadership, rehearsals, performances and practical support to make participation possible for everyone.
Whether you've sung with us, heard us perform or believe in the power of music to bring people together, we'd love you to be part of our next chapter.
Please give what you can and help make the next ten years possible.
