Providing an environment to help people live well in connected communities.
Since opening in 2015 the community centre has become a valuable community resource which supports people to live, grow up, raise families and grow old in and around Abergavenny. The centre is governed by a Charitable Trust (registered charity number 1177133) set up by residents in 2018 following a long campaign.
Income from room hire and food & refreshments helps to fund its regular activities and help keep the building open, safe, warm & dry. The charity receives a small annual grant from the Town Council and relies on local donations, fundraising and goodwill to underpin its work.
The charity's core purposes are :
