We use amateur sport & Physical Education to promote equality and diversity in communities
The charity's objects are specifically restricted to the advancement of amateur sport and physical education, to promote equality and diversity and to promote community participation in healthy recreation by the provision or assistance in the provision of facilities for the playing of inline hockey and other sports capable of improving health.This aim includes the general public but in particular children and young people in Northern Ireland and its environs of the Republic of Ireland
Why the community needs usBenefits include improvements in physical health and well-being, physical skills, values and enhanced knowledge around the value of sport to improve quality of life. Our provision is accommodating for those of all needs and abilities. We provide a structured, supportive environment for all ages to try new activities and improve their physical, mental and emotional health as a result of participation. These structuresalso supports diversion from negative environments and antisocial behaviour.
Our impact on the communityOur benefits can be demonstrated by the number of young people involved in our various programmes, the evaluation of activities via participant interviews, group discussions, feedback forums, questionnaires and the feedback received from a diverse range of groups who have been involved in our programmes.
We have a range of volunteer roles, all specific and all time bound.
