About the appeal

This winter is going to be hard for very many people, including all of the people who use Manor Gardens for advice or social events. We want to make sure we are ready to help them and have set up a special Winter Wellbeing Programme to make sure that everyone has the help they need.

We are offering our building as a Warm Space where people can come, have a hot drink, and sit and chat, read or play games. We'll be providing a hot 'bowl' at lunchtime of soup or a one-pot meal, made predominantly from food surplus that would have gone to waste. We'll also be putting on workshops about how to save money and energy and how to cook healthily for less money. There will also be regular activities, such as our Men's Group, art and crafting, board games and knit and natter.

Everyone is welcome between Monday and Friday, 10-3pm.

We are also going to be creating hampers of food staples and Christmas treats for all our clients.

We're providing the space and all our staff are joining in, but we really need your help to buy the food and drink, buy equipment, games, and keep the heat on. Please give what you can.
