About the appeal

Our intrepid team of Trainee Solicitors are embracing environmental action as they gear up for this year’s charity challenge.
The group of 36 are aiming to make a green difference over the course of three different events with the aim of raising £8,000 for our five charity partners. And they’re banking on your support to spur them on.· On Saturday 14 May 24 trainees will be splitting into two groups to tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge, with the aim of collecting litter along the way. · On Thursday 16 June, the Nottingham office will host the cycle challenge, with Partners vs Trainees cycling on stationary bikes over a 12-hour period – who can go the furthest? They’ll be calculating the difference in pollution caused if the same distances were travelled by car, train or bus and will announce this on Clean Air Day, 17 June. · And on Thursday 30 June, our trainees will take part in the Canal and River Trust’s Plastics Challenge, collecting and recycling plastic around the canals near to each of our five offices, in readiness for Plastic-Free July.
