Celebrate a Legacy and Support the Arts: A Tribute to Flip Fraser
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Flip Fraser's passing—an influential figure remembered as the brilliant creator of 'Black Heroes in the Hall of Fame'. His legacy continues to inspire the generations that follow him.
On 25th October, the Black Hero’s Foundation will present 'The Story of Flip Fraser: A Windrush Story' at The Shaw Theater. This play, written by Flip’s widow, Joyce, narrates the captivating journey of Flip's early days in Jamaica to his influential role in London where he moved aged 16 and eventually became the pioneering editor of The Voice newspaper and the creator of 'Black Heroes in the Hall of Fame', encapsulating 5,000 years of Black History in a single night of theatre.
