We offer access to cricket for anyone interested in the game from children to adults
We are a small rural village cricket club located in North Yorkshire. The cricket club was one of the founder members of the Scarborough Beckett League in the early 1900's and has been a steadfast in the league ever since. The amateur village cricket club has many members and has an open to all policy with a focus on the inclusion of children and vulnerable adults. The club is composed of three teams, two that play on a weekend and one new evening league team starting in 2019.
Why the community needs usThe cricket field owned by the club is available for the community to freely use. The local primary school makes use of the field as well as a local fitness group. The cricket club provides a hub for social interaction within a rural isolated village.
