ADAS is a service for individuals concerned about their alcohol use.
Established in 1987 ADAS is a charity that supports people from West Essex who are concerned about their alcohol use. Our highly committed and experienced team are qualified in the field of substance misuse and provide a friendly and supportive environment to assist and aid recovery for those suffering with alcohol problems.
Why the community needs usADAS understands the impact that alcohol misuse can have on both the individual and their family, we therefore work to support all family members affected by the individuals. Whilst offering support and 1:1 counselling to the service user, we also provide a structured day care programme that clients are able to access to give them structure to their day and aid their recovery.
Our impact on the communityADAS are a very well known local and respected charity who are recognised for the support and service they offer to their clients and/or families.
VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED WITH THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:I.T, finance, fundraising, reception/administrative, P.R., Art therapists/teachers, teaching photography and
debt advice.
