Cardiff Foodbank is a project to help and support those suffering financial hardship and facing the reality of being unable to feed themselves or their families. Food is donated by individuals, schools, businesses and places of worship and is stored for future use. Front line professional care workers from charities, social services, schools & other organisations issue vouchers to clients. Clients can exchange vouchers for 3 days of nutritionally balanced emergency food from centres across the city.
Cardiff Foodbank's vision is that no-one in Cardiff goes hungry because everyone can afford the essentials.
