To restore dignity and empower individuals to help themselves. Provision of support services; in the first instance a food bank, other services may be provided such as budgeting and debt advice, job club and IT training. Also to signpost individuals to other suitable support services. The charity will support those individuals mainly in the Cheddar Valley area although there may be some overlap so we are committed to working with other local community groups who offer a similar service.

Will meet a genuine need as identified by local groups in the area as people are suffering from the effects of Government policy on austerity, bedroom tax and high costs of travelling to buy cheaper food. Cheddar valley residents also need support to budget and deal with issues relating to employment, training and opportunities. The vision is to see people able to gain essential information that they can relate to others in need so that the community can support itself.
