Our aim is to support women and children who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse, encouraging them to develop skills, gain confidence and enable them to exercise their own power and to use all available opportunities and choices to successfully move on in their lives.

We provide temporary refuge or outreach support for women and their children who are experiencing domestic abuse. We support women by helping them to access advice, benefits and services. We assist in finding move-on accommodation and support their integration into the community. We provide opportunities for self development and growth.

In 2009/10 we accommodated 48 women and 66 children in the Refuge. Our Outreach service supported 254 women.
