We are a group of self-funding volunteers operating as a registered charity to provide an "out of hours" courier service to our NHS partners throughout Cornwall and beyond.
We operate 5pm - 7am weekdays, 24 hours weekends and bank holidays.
We receive no funding by the NHS or Government and rely entirely on the generosity of the community. Every penny we collect goes back into the charity, which literally is keeping our wheels turning.

Why the community needs us
2016 we covered 90,000 miles and completed more than 2,000 operational jobs
2017 we covered over 96,000 miles and completed 2,100 operational jobs
2018 we covered over 123,000 miles and completed 2,150 operational jobs
2019 we covered 100,229 miles and completed 3,397 operational jobs
2020 we covered 229,463 operational miles and completed 5,853 operational jobs
2021 we covered just over 200,000 miles and completed over 6,736 operational jobs
2022 we covered 185,371 miles and completed 6,790 operational jobs. 2023 we covered 212,525 miles and completed 6,481 operational jobs.

In 2020 as a worldwide Covid-19 pandemic crisis changed our lives forever CBB launched on the 17th March a 24/7 emergency service to support our Hospitals and Hospices in Cornwall returning to normal operations in September 2020 due to it being financially unsustainable and a better way the world was dealing with this crisis.

Our impact on the community
Our aim is to support our NHS partners by providing a FREE courier service, saving them money and being able to invest that money back into patient care. 
We hope that our professional and dedicated service run entirely by volunteers has an impact on better patient outcomes for the people of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
