Creativity Calling CIC: Empowering Lives Through Art

Creativity Calling CIC was born from my realisation that creativity has an inherent power to heal, sustain, and transform. During a time of immense personal challenge—supporting family through life-altering illness, facing personal loss, and battling cancer—creative expression became my refuge. Painting, drawing, making, and sewing helped me navigate grief and uncertainty, allowing me to support both myself and those around me.

With over 30 years of experience as an art teacher from Gaborone to Salisbury, Mumbai, to Crawley, and training as a Creativity Coach, I recognised that I had the skills to help others find strength through creativity. From this, Creativity Calling CIC was formed.

We provide creative workshops and one-to-one sessions, focusing on the process of making art rather than just the outcome. This process fosters connection, confidence, and emotional well-being. We work with asylum seekers, refugees, older adults, vulnerable women, people experiencing mental health challenges, young people, and carers, offering sessions in painting, drawing, printmaking, textiles, ceramics, and sculpture. The art created is exhibited both online and within the communities we serve, celebrating each individual’s creative journey.

With our portable art room, a wide range of materials, and deep expertise, we are ready to support individuals and groups in unlocking their creative potential.
