Investing in communities and culture!

Eco Communities operates Crofton Park Community Library providing spaces for a broad variety of individuals to have access to free internet and books as well as events and activities. Whether it's someone between jobs searching for work online, families enjoying drawing classes, readings or sing-along events, students needing a place to concentrate on their studies, people reminiscing over a cup of coffee or learning IT, an Eco Communities-run library provides the communities with resources and spaces that would otherwise not exist.

All money made through Eco Communities CIC gets reinvested in the libraries.

Why the community needs us We provide a space for a broad variety of individuals to have access to free internet and books as well as events and activities.

Our impact on the community We have local volunteers from a variety of backgrounds who helps many get back into work or set up their own businesses.

Crofton Park Community Library was created in 2011 at a time when our local library was threatened with closure. If you help us by becoming a regular donor, or by donating occasionally on specific projects, you will help us maintain our community space and beautiful building. We do generate some income through some of our activities but a lot more is required so we are always grateful for help to keep the building in shape and our doors open
