The Friends of Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi is here to help build a strong school community and raise funds to provide extra equipment and experiences.
Cyfeillion Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi is the 'Friends of Group' for all 3 campuses of Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi on the St Davids Peninsula; that's Aidan Campus in Solva, and both Non Campus and Dewi Campus in St Davids.
The Cyfeillion is a registered charity (charity no. 1218069) and our purpose is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:
Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and wider community, and
Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.
Much of our work is organising fundraising events or helping out at school events but our volunteer team also applys for grants to support specific needs of all 3 campuses and pupils.
The Cyfeillion is made up entirely of volunteers from the community, who are committed to supporting our amazing local school and ensuring our local youngsters get the best possible education and experiences.
Funding for schools is always very tight and every year school budgets seem to reduce so the work of the Cyfeillion is vital, now more than ever.
We welcome any support you can offer whether financial or through volunteering with us.
