East Midlands Asbestos Support Team is a registered charity established in 2002 which supports those diagnosed with asbestos related diseases and their families. We provide assistance with applying for government benefits and compensation and advice on making civil claims. We also have a long history of campaigning for greater awareness of asbestos and the continuing threats to health posed by this substance.

EMAST also provide bereavement support to those who have been bereaved due to an asbestos related disease. EMAST was formerly known as DAST and rebranded in October 2024.
