The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Fifehead Magdalen. This includes the use of the Village Hall for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Fifehead Magdalen is a small village of around 50 houses and just under 90 residents. There is no shop or pub so there is nowhere to go on a daily basis to meet people. The Village Hall is one place where people can meet up and socialize. At the present time the Village Hall is used for fund raising functions such as Quiz Nights and the village holds its Christmas party there. The Church uses it as a venue for some of its functions and it is also hired out to other local organisations.

The aim of our fundraising is to keep the Village Hall well-maintained and up-to-date. We believe that doing this will make the Hall more welcoming so that people will continue to want to use it.
