Friends of Anstee Bridge helping vulnerable young people gain confidence through creativity
FAB Friends of Anstee Bridge was set up in December 2022 as the charity fundraising arm of Anstee Bridge to help support the vital work that Anstee Bridge does for the local community, in supporting vulnerable young people, aged 14-16, struggling with their social, emotional and mental health. Through creative workshops we build confidence and resilience in a nurturing, therapeutic, safe and fun environment.
Objectives of FAB:
Fostering a greater understanding and awareness of the work of Anstee Bridge with stakeholders, others in the Borough and the wider community.
Raising funds to allow Anstee Bridge to provide additional resources needed to enhance the creative solutions and interventions in response to the aim of supporting mental health and educational challenges.
Promoting awareness of social, emotional and mental health challenges of young people in the wider community.
Engaging in any additional activities considered central or peripheral to the raising of funds to support the young people within the Anstee Bridge Community
