Gilgal is a refuge in Birmingham, supporting women and children fleeing from domestic abuse. So much more than just a shelter, we provide counselling and an extensive activities programme that helps our residents rediscover themselves and begin to rebuild their lives.

Donations made to Gilgal help us to continue providing this high-quality service, with qualified counsellors, a dedicated children's team, and partnerships with local experts. We also ensure every child has a gift and party on their birthday, subsidise education costs for women, and plan trips both near and far to add a touch of excitement and joy to residents' time with us.
