This summer, we’re turning an ordinary space in Heath Town into something extraordinary — a place filled with laughter, connection, and childhood joy.
Heath Town Beach brings the seaside to families who might otherwise never get there.
For many of the children we support, a day at the beach simply isn’t possible. Rising costs, limited transport, and everyday pressures mean that simple childhood experiences can feel out of reach. That’s where we step in.
Together, we create a free, safe, and welcoming “beach” right in the heart of our community — with real sand, water play, games, creative activities, and space to just be.
But this is about so much more than sandcastles.
Heath Town Beach is about:
Giving children the chance to play, explore, and make happy memories
Bringing families together in a relaxed, inclusive space
? Reducing isolation and building stronger community connections
Supporting wellbeing during the long school holidays
At Hope Community Project, we see the difference these moments make. A child laughing in the sand. A parent relaxing for the first time in weeks. New friendships forming between families who didn’t know each other before.
These are the moments that matter.
With your support, we can keep Heath Town Beach free for everyone — removing barriers and making sure no one is left out.
Every donation helps us cover the cost of sand, equipment, activities, and staffing — turning a simple idea into a truly special experience.
This summer, you can help create joy, belonging, and lasting memories.
