In October we are highlighting the amazing journey of Liz Mason.
In this short documentary, “From Darkness into Light” Liz tells her tale of the road traffic accident she was involved in and her personal journey to recovery. Towards the end of her time with Healthy Options, Liz chose to express her gratitude by taking on a sponsored event. She walking--on average--18,000 steps a day, EVERY day in February and raised over £2,000 in the process.
We are now telling her story in the hopes it will inspire more people to dig deep and support our charity to support more people like Liz.Click here to watch the video
We love this story as it is a gripping tale of personal grit and determination as embodied by Liz; being met with professional and compassionate support from Healthy Options.
As Liz’s daughter said, “You never know when you will need Healthy Options”.
