These aren’t just words, they’re the foundation of everything we do at Myrtle House. We’re all about people helping people: ensuring families have access to food, strengthening wellbeing, reducing isolation, and creating opportunities through community-led projects.

At the heart of Llanelli, Myrtle House is a place where compassion becomes action and no one has to face life’s challenges alone. Our projects offer practical support, warm spaces, creative opportunities, and pathways out of hardship.

What We Do

Community Life Hub

A welcoming space offering triage support, warm spaces, signposting, and connection to services that strengthen wellbeing and prevent crisis.

Llanelli Foodbank

We distribute over 5,000 emergency food parcels each year, working together with Trussell to ensure no one in our community faces hunger or hardship alone.

Pathways Project

A holistic programme helping people build skills, community, and wellbeing. It includes:

•   The Community Table – pay-what-you-can meals & pay-it-forward

•   Cooking and budgeting workshops

•   Volunteering and skills development

•   The Growing Space

•   Wellbeing support and activities

Friendship Centre

A warm, inclusive space reducing isolation through community meals, wellbeing sessions, and supportive relationships.

Money Support Project

In partnership with CMA, we offer debt support, budgeting help, Money Matters Workshops, additional assistance such as Fuel Bank vouchers, free SIM cards, and extended food support.

Across all our projects, we support over 2,000 people every month, meeting urgent needs and helping individuals and families move toward stability, confidence, and hope.
