We use Carnival and the Celebratory Arts to engage people and communities, bring out the very best in them, help them achieve their creative potential and celebrate with them through the production of excellent outdoor arts events.

Our impact on the community
1. Community Engagement & Inclusion
Organizing accessible and inclusive annual events like the IW Mardi Gras and Merry and Bright – Festival of Light, which bring together local schools, community groups, artists and the wider community
Providing free workshops, such as the planned lantern-making workshop for a local school, ensuring that people from all backgrounds can participate in cultural celebrations.
Offering flexible participation in projects so that individuals with different needs, including families and those with limited time, can get involved.
2. Youth & Education
Engaging young people in creative projects through our Youth Project Isle of Creativity
Collaborating with schools, colleges, and youth groups to encourage participation in arts and performance, and to promote potential future careers in the Creative Arts Industries
Supporting emerging artists and performers through hands-on experience in large-scale public events.
3. Cultural & Artistic Development
Showcasing traditional and contemporary carnival arts, from giant puppets and big head costumes to eco-friendly printmaking.
Partnering with local and national organizations to innovate in outdoor arts, making events more creative and sustainable.
