Learn about sustainable lifestyles, find friends in a local network to share and learn together
We are working to create an abundant world in which we care for the earth, each other and future generations, whilst living within nature's limits. We are primarily about education. We support teachers and educators, students, seekers and businesses. We help you find courses and events, the right learning pathway or to see more examples of permaculture in practice. We are acutely concerned about climate change and biodiversity and steering work and lifestyles toward regenerative practices.
Why the community needs usHelping you to find positive solutions, sustainable livelihoods, courses, events and permaculture friends nearby to share your learning and your questions. We run several regional groups across Wales and help to start up new ones all the time. The local groups come together to work share and skills share, run film evenings and discussions, training sessions and an annual national gathering
Our impact on the communityWE have around 10 active groups across Wales, Each with between 30 and 100 members. WE are developing a network of visitable projects where you can see examples of permaculture design used in practice. We are fundraising to support our fantastic National Gathering summer camp and bursary places for those who cannot otherwise afford it
Join our Wales Coordination team of volunteers, as part of a regional group or with your own special interests; help put on permaculture events and training sessions to raise awareness and money; help us on social media or other fund raising ideas
