ROKT Foundation specialises in delivering high quality climbing, bouldering, caving, abseiling and creative experiences for those that would not normally have access to our facilities. We offer indoor and outdoor, team building adventure driven experiences. We promote inclusion, encourage independence and build self-confidence through the safe provision of adventurous activities in an urban environment, improving physical fitness and health & wellbeing. We work with clients locally and from across the region and co-deliver activity with other partner agencies to enable the clients that access our courses, to get maximum benefit. For example, working with local 'Better Living' teams to create a fitness pathway for participants. Working with local pupil referral units to support children and young people to achieve a new qualification; working alongside employment support officers to align climbing development tasters with 'Getting the Job' courses.
Why the community needs usWe are supporting people of all ages and abilities to get healthy, improving physical and mental health and wellbeing. Through a variety of taster and development sessions, groups and individuals are challenged to achieve as much as they can; whether this be climbing a bit higher, trying their first abseil or venturing into the indoor caving system. We encourage independence & build self-confidence, working with partner agencies to ensure our courses are aligned with complimentary support.
