RSVP supports children and adults subjected to sexual violence and abuse to thrive and enjoy a future with hope and confidence. We boldly stand with survivors and challenge victim blaming.
We offer services which are compassionate, professional and confidential. Our services include counselling, pre therapy support, online support programmes, wellbeing social groups, advocacy, a telephone helpline, webchat, self help and specialist support for survivors who are asylum seekers and refugees, LGBT or sex workers.
RSVP is the main specialist charity in Birmingham and Solihull supporting children and adults of any gender subjected to rape, sexual violence, abuse and exploitation.
Counselling is just one of our many services and we have a large team of counsellors who support children, adults and their loved ones who support them too. We deliver counselling 7 days a week. However this is still not enough and survivors wait from 1 to 8 months for counselling. Hence we need to increase our capacity, which will enable us to provide counselling support quickly, when requested and needed, to everyone on our waiting list, not weeks and months after.
Every donation will help us to support child and adult survivors more quickly, and be a way you can show your big hearted support of our life saving services.
