Salisbury Sea Cadets helps develop local young people towards responsible adulthood.
The aim of Salisbury Sea Cadets is to help young people towards responsible adulthood and to encourage them to reach their potential by developing valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a nautical theme based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy. Why the community needs us
We provide the youth of Salisbury with an opportunity to experience and get qualified in various aspects of maritime life; Power - Rowing - Canoeing - Sailing - Diving. It's not all waterborne. Much of our training is carried out within the Unit: Drill & Ceremonial - Seamanship - Communications - Cook Steward - Marine Engineering - Climbing - Music - Football - Swimming Leadership - Duke of Edinburgh - BTEC - CNVQ. We also allow other groups and charities to use our fantastic facilities. Our impact on the community
We need enthusiastic volunteers with a range of skills, from those who want to help train cadets to those who can apply their business skills to help run the Management Team that supports our Unit.
