Science Boost CIC

Inspiring a love for science in children and young people from all backgrounds.

Who are we?
We’re a non-profit organisation, opening science up to children and young people from a range of backgrounds. We believe science is for everyone. Our activities are funded for young people who typically have less access to science learning opportunities, for example those from low income backgrounds.

What are our aims?
We aim to improve the confidence and aspirations of the young people we work with and improve their understanding and enjoyment of science. We aim to make science more accessible to disadvantaged young people. We hope to inspire a range children and young people to continue studying STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) subjects.

What do we do?
We build confident, effective learners, equipping them with the skills they need to achieve their potential. We provide a range of activities, including a science & nature play group for toddlers, online tuition and topical workshops for older children.

Support us in our mission
As a non-profit organisation, we rely on grant funding, sponsorship and donations to deliver our funded services. We’re always looking for businesses and organisations to work with and welcome donations from individuals, no matter how small.
