Our mission at Single Parents Wellbeing is to empower single parent families by providing a supportive, peer-led community that enhances mental wellbeing, nurtures connections, and combats social isolation, enabling families to thrive together.

Single parents make up one of the most under supported, invisible yet resilient communities in the UK. At Single Parents Wellbeing, we help thousands of families every year to access community, increase their confidence and that of their children by providing practical tools to thrive, a community to be a part of, and opportunities to develop.

The ways we do that are:
Employment and Volunteering Opportunities:

We are committed to breaking down barriers. By actively employing single parents and engaging volunteers from within our community, we provide meaningful opportunities for growth, fostering a sense of purpose and belonging.

Events, Socials, and Workshops:

Creating a safe and connected community is at the core of what we do. Through peer led events, socials, and workshops, we aim to reduce isolation and loneliness, building a single-parent family community that supports and uplifts each other.

Self-Development:

We recognise that a single parent's journey is complex. Our commitment to self-development involves offering empowering advice, holistic services, and opportunities to build skills, ensuring that single parents can continually grow and elevate themselves.

Campaigning:

Advocacy and representation is vital in challenging stereotypes and promoting understanding. We empower single-parent families to have a voice, raising awareness and busting stigmas surrounding single parenthood.

Online Presence:

Recognising the importance of staying connected, we extend our support online, reaching single parents across Wales. Our online resources provide valuable support and information to those who may not have easy access to in-person services.
