Sports Fun 4 All uses sports to empower young people and foster community in South London.
Sports Fun 4 All uses the power of sport to improve the lives of children and young people in South London. We harness the power of sports to drive social change and combat violence, discrimination, and disadvantage for children and young people. Our unique approach uses sports as a catalyst for transformation.
We were born out of a personal mission. Our Founder & CEO, Kieran Connolly, established the organisation in September 2016, driven by the need for more informal football sessions for young people outside of organised football teams.
We deliver the most free weekly football sessions in London. We provide 17 weekly sessions at 13 venues in Bellingham, Brockley, Burgess Park, Catford, Crystal Palace, Downham, Deptford, Eltham, Elephant & Castle, Hither Green, Kennington, Kidbrooke and Lewisham Way, covering Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham, and Southwark Boroughs.
We aim to inspire children and young people to achieve their potential and improve their wellbeing, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Together, we build stronger, safer, and more inclusive communities. We use our foundations in the community to regularly engage children and young people of all backgrounds and abilities in football, sport, and personal development – providing a trusted, positive influence in some of the most deprived areas across the UK.
The objectives of our weekly sessions are to:
Increase playing and coaching opportunities in football for 11-25-year-olds
Enhance physical and mental wellbeing, including self-esteem, ambition and social skills, providing a platform for personal growth and development.
Strengthen communities with a culture of volunteering, social action, and positive role models – supporting education, training, and employment pathways (focusing on 16-25yrs)
Work in partnership with young people, the police and other stakeholders to support the younger generation with the societal challenges they face and to improve community safety
