Stepping Stones is a local registered charity providing practical and emotional support to around 300 vulnerable women a year. We help women impacted by domestic abuse, offending, drug and alcohol misuse and poor mental health.  Our trauma-informed service is driven directly by the needs of women; we listen and are non-judgemental; we inform and advocate; providing women with the skills, hope and resources needed to make positive choices.  Through tailored one to one support, group therapy and counselling, our team of passionate and experienced practitioners work collaboratively to equip and inspire women to make positive changes, creating a better future for themselves, their children, families and communities. 

Uniquely, we provide free childcare ensuring all women can access our services. Our Luton hub is a place where women from across central Bedfordshire feel safe and benefit from food and clothes donations, as well as access to free legal advice and employment support.  We have strong partnerships with other agencies including social services, drugs and alcohol services, probation and sexual health to name but a few.
