Stitches in Time is a community arts and education charity working with the most marginalised and deprived communities in Tower Hamlets. For over 30 years we have delivered community-led projects and educational programmes in textiles and visual arts, helping to build an inclusive Tower Hamlets, using craft as a shared language and experience to build empathy between disparate communities.

We are a grassroots organisation with a reputation for creating real, tangible, personal and social impact. Working with women who have generally had little or no access to the arts, education or employment in the U.K. we facilitate fundamental change in their lives. Rooted in our local community with sewing programmes and employment via our social enterprise.
