SCIP is a registered charity dedicated to breaking down the barriers which stop people accessing the arts. We provide unique accessible exhibitions, free children's art workshops, and youth engagement opportunities.
We believe contemporary arts should be for everyone, and access to the arts can be hugely beneficial for an entire community, supporting good mental health and combating loneliness.

Our SCIP Youth Program is designed to provide young people with an opportunity to explore art in a relaxed and inclusive environment, where the pressures of school are removed and freedom of creativity is celebrated. The meetups also enable us to learn about youth culture, understand how the arts are important to them and feed the information in to all our projects to help engage more young people in the community.

In 2022 we were fortunate enough to take on our own permanent premises, and now call The Crypt Gallery in Seaford our home! With this incredible new space we will be able to extend all our projects and develop the crypt into a centre for the arts. We host a diverse range of artists and makers, and are working towards making culture accessible to everyone in Sussex.

Your donation will help enable to us to provide more creative activities for the Seaford and Sussex community, keep the gallery doors open through the cost of living crisis, and develop our SCIP Youth program to support more young people through creative practices.
