Why The Launchpad Collective (TLC)?
Steered by refugees for refugees, The Launchpad Collective (TLC) was established to challenge the systems and inequalities leading to refugee talent being wasted, obstructed and overlooked. We support refugee job seekers into employment and connect employers with refugee talent. We have so far supported 1000+ people on their employment journey and offer four services acting as a springboard to work-readiness. We continually adapt to meet the evolving needs of our clients, this means all our services are needs-driven by our user group.
We work as a Collective with all our services co-created by people with refugee backgrounds. We now have 11 paid core team members (all with refugee backgrounds) and our goal is for TLC to be entirely managed by people with refugee backgrounds as they are the experts by experience.
