Trowbridge Future is an independent Wiltshire Charity helping some of the most vulnerable people
Established in 1998, yet registered as a Charitable Incorporated Charity in January 2016 our aim "develop the capacity and skills of our residents to enable them to better identify and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society."Why the community needs us
Trowbridge Future encourages resilient active communities in Trowbridge. Trowbridge Future works with targeted groups in the community to bring about improvements impacting on quality of life and to promote a sense of belonging within that community for all its residents. It does this through a range of services in partnership with other local organisations. Current Focus - YOUTH and the BROADER COMMUNITYOur impact on the community
Trowbridge Future deliver youth clubs and outreach in Trowbridge, 3 nights per week in Studley, Seymour and at Stallards Skate Park, plus a drop in at John of Gaunt school. We currently reach 250 young people with weekly engagement of 62 young people. We also work directly with neighbourhoods groups and hope to help them make a difference where they live. We work with 11 resident associations encouraging community events, engagement and promotion of local activities.
