Vegmead Community Group (VCG) is member organisation, entirely run by volunteers that promotes sustainable urban food systems through the creation of meaningful volunteering opportunities for all. Its work is focused at Vegmead Edible Garden based in Hedgemead Park which they look after on behalf of the community. The site produces organic fruit & vegetables for community use. VCG also works collaboratively with other organisations across Bath to achieve environmental and well-being outcomes.

Vegmead creates meaningful volunteering opportunities and aims to promote the benefits of volunteering and urban food growing to local residents and users of Hedgemead Park. We also work in partnership with a range of other organisations to run projects that bring engage new audiences with organic food growing and urban gardening
