We have rejuvenated Wellow's Playing Field by creating sports and recreational facilities that appeal to both genders and the full spectrum of age groups. Families living in Wellow and the surrounding villages can now play tennis, netball, boules, football, cricket, jog, exercise on the outdoor gym equipment, watch professional open air theatrical performances and enjoy the children's play park. We have recently opened our attractive new Sports Pavilion with '@The Hub' serving refreshments.

Wellow Recreation has a variety of sports and leisure clubs for everyone to join. We have 2 floodlit all-weather tennis courts to LTA standards, a netball court for recreational play, a boules pitch, a 7-aside football pitch for children and adults, twin cricket nets to ECB standards for bowling and batting practice, a circular jogging track for exercise, 8 pieces of outdoor gym equipment for cardiovascular and muscular exercise and a staging area for open air theatrical performances

By creating sports and leisure facilities where none were previously present, we are improving health, physical fitness and community spirit of local residents. We are bringing all our rural communities together in the enjoyment of competitive sport and recreation.
