Hi all,
Myself and Ciaran will be cycling 200k on Saturday 14th October around Richmond Park, to raise money for Camphill School in Aberdeen - a local charity that supports young people with additional needs.
Ciaran’s little brother Niall was born with Downs Syndrome, and is now living in one of the residential units within Camphill. Since joining the school, Niall has grown in many different ways; this is no doubt because of the fantastic facilities and resources available to him. Niall now enjoys walking alpacas, woodwork and carpentry, swimming and helping in the garden on a daily basis.
We visited earlier this year, and found the staff and community to be so loving and kind with Niall. We would absolutely love to give back to Camphill and show our appreciation for everything they do.
Well done!! I couldn't cycle 2k let alone 200!!
Ciaran / Fi, we are so grateful to you and everyone who donates. Camphill are delighted. 200km is a hell of a challenge. Good luck with the training. Hil and Aloyise.
