In 2025, Kinetika Bloco proudly celebrates 25 years of transformative work in the community, empowering young people through music and dance. Over the past quarter-century, we have fostered a vibrant, diverse, and creative collective, shaping the next generation of artists and leaders.​

The impact of Bloco over the last 25 years is undeniable. We have launched this fundraiser to help ensure that we can continue impacting young people's lives for the next 25 years.

Our current impact statistics

• Over 15,000 young people engaged to date. We currently engage around 1,500 people a year.

• 85% of participants come from Global Majority backgrounds, mainly African & Caribbean.​

• 25% have SEND.​

• 75% of our Leadership Team are alumni who return to mentor the next generation.​

• A high proportion of our young people are on free school meals and live in deprived neighbourhoods.​

• 91% of participants say Kinetika Bloco helps increase their confidence, 90% their health and wellbeing, 88% said it gives them a sense of belonging, 90% increased their happiness.
