From February to May I'll be running four different races in four months to help raise funds for a fantastic charity that does important work supporting families in Exeter and East Devon.
From its beginnings in 1986 Home-Start Exeter, East & Mid Devon has grown into a cornerstone of family support in the area. Through their local community network of trained volunteers, they are reaching over 140 families each year - families struggling with poor mental health, isolation, physical health problems, bereavement, cost of living and many other issues. Families receive the support of a volunteer who will spend around two hours a week with them at home, supporting them in the ways that meet each family’s individual circumstances.
This year marks Home-Start Exeter, East & Mid Devons 40th anniversary, and to mark this they have launched the 40-40 Anniversary Campaign, a fundraising initiative aimed at raising £40,000, ensuring local families continue to have access to life-changing support for decades to come.
The fours races are –
Seville Marathon (15th February) - https://en.zurichmaratonsevilla.es/
The Grizzly (20 miles) (8th March) - https://www.axevalleyrunners.org.uk/Grizzly/

The Great West Run Half Marathon, Exeter (24th May) - https://thegreatwestrun.co.uk/
Please give generously - although I enjoy running I suspect I'll hate this at many points, so your support will mean a lot!
